This 6 hour class will be tailored purely on what you wish to learn.

 

This is the perfect class for anyone looking to invest in their learning.

You will be the only student on your class.

  • Baking principles - how to bake the perfect sponges for stacking

  • How to design a beautiful cake or wedding cake

  • How to make Belgian Ganache

  • How to consider your colour palette for your design and colour your fondant and Florist Paste to the perfect shade 

  • How to keep your paste fresh and pliable

  • Roll out your paste to an even thickness

  • Use various Sugarcraft tools to manipulate and shape your paste 

  • Work with dummy tiers

  • Learn how to dowel and stack for safe transportation

  • Make stunning wired and non-wired sugar flowers

  • How to use edible dusts to bring your sugarcraft alive

  • Use lustres

  • How to apply edible metallic leaf

  • Work with stencils and royal icing

  • How to use various cutters

  • How to ice perfectly, avoiding ugly elephant skin and dealing with air bubbles

  • How to create those all important sharp edges

  • How to dry your petals quickly for faster work

  • Lots of tips and troubleshooting advice throughout the day

  • Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take notes in an intimate and relaxed class

The cost for this class covers all notes, tools and materials along with refreshments and biscuits. Please just bring along a packed lunch
