Floral Hoop - 2 Day Class

On this two day class you will be taught lots of useful techniques including icing dummy tiers to a clean and professional finish, beautiful sugar blooms and edible lace

There will be no more than one other student on this class. Please note that we will be using only dummies, not edible tiers.

You will be provided with a ready iced 4" dummy tier and we will ice the other tiers in class 

Class Content: -

  • How to design a stunning wedding cake 

  • How to choose a beautiful colour palette and colour your fondant to the perfect shade

  • How to ice your dummies, creating those all important sharp and professional edges

  • How to ice and trim your base board

  • How to stack your tiers

  • How to create and apply exquisite edible lace

  • How to prepare your hoop for your flowers

  • How to create a beautiful Rose, Desdemona Rose, Cosmos and foliage all from sugar

  • Work with edible lustres

  • Attach your sugar flowers to your hoop and secure this safely to your cake

  • Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take notes in an intimate and relaxed class

All notes, tools and equipment are provided in the cost of the class along with biscuits and refreshments - please just bring along a packed lunch
