In this 6 hour class you will be provided with a freshly baked, deep Vanilla Madeira.


This is the perfect class for anyone looking to master a totally professional finish to their cakes.

There will be no more than one other student on this class.

Class Content : -

  • Consider your colour palette for your design and colour your fondant to the perfect shade 

  • How to make the perfect silky buttercream

  • Learn how to level, split and fill each layer

  • How to ensure your cake stays moist and delicious 

  • Work with silky white Belgian chocolate Ganache

  • How to ice your cake to a clean finish, mastering those perfect sharp edges and how to deal with those dreaded air bubbles

  • Prepare the cake's surface for the silver leaf

  • Work with edible lustres

  • Apply silver leaf to the top edge of your cake

  • How to use and colour Florist Paste

  • Make a beautiful 

    bursting peony from sugar
  • Make decorative leaves from sugar

  • How to ice and trim your baseboard

  • How to safely attach your peony and foliage to your cake

  • Lots of tips and troubleshooting advice throughout the day

  • Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take notes in an intimate and relaxed class

The cost for this class covers all notes, tools and materials along with refreshments and biscuits. Please just bring along a packed lunch
